Corona Alarm Level II in Baden-Baden November 24, 2021

In Baden-Baden, alarm level II is in effect as of today. In both alarm levels, the 2G regulation applies to hotels and restaurants. This means that only vaccinated or recovered guests are allowed to use these facilities and they DO NOT NEED rapid or PCR test proof. In alert level II, the 2G regulation also applies to museums and thermal baths (no test is required).

For attendance at theater, opera, and concert performances, movies, city and folk festivals, city tours, and Christmas markets, the 2G Plus Regulation applies. This means that even vaccinated and recovered persons must present a daily negative rapid or PCR test. Rapid tests are offered free of charge in Baden-Baden (german citizens are entitled to at least one free rapid test per week). At the nearby Dr. Rösslers Hof Apotheke you can book an appointment online to avoid waiting times.

A daily rapid test means it must be no more than 24 hours old. A PCR test must be no more than 48 hours old. Here, the time of taking the sample of the PCR test proof is decisive for the validity period – not the time of issuing the test result.

For visits to Christmas markets, masks are generally mandatory – even outdoors.

Rest assured we react quickly and flexibly to new regulations to offer you maximum safety and ensure your relaxed stay. Shortly before your arrival we will inform you additionally, individually and comprehensively by e-mail about all possible innovations.
