Corona Update – Hotel opening starting 21st of May!

Dear guests,

We will be open for you from Friday, 21.5.2021, as tourist travel is once again possible in Baden-Baden.
On arrival you will need proof that you are either:
-completely vaccinated.
-well
-or tested negative within the 24 hours.

Please see below for more information:

Who is allowed to visit restaurants and hotels?

All guests must show proof of either being “vaccinated”, “recovered” or “tested”.
Important exception: Children who have not yet reached the age of six (i.e. are still five years old) also have the right of admission without presenting the corresponding proof.

How long does a negative certificate remain valid and can it be used for other services?.

For the “tested”: Certificates from official test centres, all negative test certificates confirmed by service providers (e.g. hotels, caterers, hairdressers), test certificates from employers for employees, tests conducted by schools for children and young people. Also certificates of self-tests issued by restaurateurs on site under supervision of the test performance by a suitable person. Self-tests carried out by guests/customers in a private environment without supervision of the service provider do not entitle to access.Note that access to the establishment must take place within a 24h period since testing.

How long does the test remain valid for hotel guests?

According to the Corona-VO BW v. 13.05., it is stipulated that hotel guests within the scope of a longer stay must first be tested upon arrival and subsequently every 3 days. If the tested hotel guest then uses further services of the hotel (e.g. breakfast), he does not have to be tested again.

According to the CoronaVO, vaccinated persons are persons who have been vaccinated for at least 14 days by means of vaccination documentation.

All persons who have already tested positive themselves are considered recovered persons according to the Corona Ordinance, provided they have proof of an infection with the coronavirus confirmed by PCR test and are no longer subject to a segregation obligation based on this. The proven infection must have occurred no more than six months previously.

Did special opening hours apply in the gastronomy sector?

Yes, the opening of establishments is limited in time: Stage 1: Indoor and outdoor gastronomy from 6.00 to 21.00 hrs.
